Nothing could possibly be cuter.

Here is a new idea. Would you like to learn to draw a teapot?

Not only do they provide a really easy tutorial, they have an easy to use drawing pad so you can try out the lessons on your own computer. Look for their other drawing lessons such as house, coffee pot, cartoons, manga, figures, just about EVERYTHING. Here is the directory.

This I found on a Russian site right HERE.  I have always liked cherries. I remember one time in either kindergarten or first grade, the teacher had a clear plastic tree with cherry candies on them for us for Washington's birthday. I remember asking her if I could have another and she said it would not be very nice because there were not enough for everybody to have a second one. I do not think I said anything but I STILL think she should have let me because no one else was smart enough to ask.

Another cute teapot. It is called Babar Teapot. I never really cared for the Babar books but this elephant is so cute it makes me want to give them a second chance,

Can't you just imagine warming your hands around this little mug? I like this color very much but if I had unlimited disposable income, I would get it in the lime color also. It used to be sold by Stash Tea but not anymore. That tells me I missed their *SALE* to destock this item.

If I enjoyed polishing silver, I would get this tea set. It is silver plated. I have a thing for the beehive design.

Happiest travel cup ever. I love dots. Dots are GREAT! I especially like perfectly round, repeated size dots. With bright color and dots, how can anyone help being cheerful? Find a great cup like this one here. Or if you really want to, get this for me!

Continuing the red theme for February's Monday Tea Time, here is a cute little set. The mugs are not my favorite style but I liked the saucers very much. The pot looks like my brown betty's design. It is called the Very Merry so the link may be broken by the time this post publishes.

This wonderful movie. I heart it very much. Watch it, then call in your family to see it. If you work at a school and YouTube is blocked, you may be able to show this embedded version directly from my little piece of publishing heaven. Get a cuppa tea and enjoy!

Look at THIS BLOG. Her name is Kim and she MADE this. She shows how on her blog. She is a talented embroiderer.

Tea Monday! This is one of my favorites. But which color is best?

This is called CARROT. It is much prettier than the one called pumpkin. My favorite color is turquoise, so how about this one?
They have holes on the sides for tea bag tags! Great idea.

Look, Mom. Wouldn't this look good on your shelf? It is a pretty one! Find it here if you want to buy one.

TEA TIME
My favorite tea this month is from Mitoku. It is called Nagata Organic Brown Rice Kukicha and it tastes like happy twigs. I thoroughly enjoy it.
An interesting quote from the Mitoku Company: "In Japan, kukicha has been stigmatized as a poor man's drink, because, like brown rice, it brings back memories of the days of deprivation during and after World War II. Macrobiotics founder George Ohsawa introduced kukicha to the West forty years ago. Since it contains only one-tenth the caffeine of sencha and because it is the most alkalinizing Japanese tea, Ohsawa considered it to be the most balanced beverage. Indeed, kukicha is an excellent complement to the grain-based, mostly vegetarian diet he advocated."

Just as cute as can be.

I can imagine drinking a chamomile and lavender blossom tea, sweetened with honey. Just a little bit of honey.
This is the Honeycomb Teapot

Ready for tea on Monday? My grocery store had some STASH TEA! I was pretty excited to make that discovery. I celebrated by purchasing this happy, exotic flavor. It is naturally sweet and I used only about a half teaspoon of sugar for a 10 oz cup. Lots of places sell it but you are likely to find it in health conscious markets like Whole Foods.

Happy Monday! Today's tea related picture is a Red and Ivory Cardinal Teapot.
Isn't that cute? It makes me cheerful just looking at it. Do you like the set?

12.19.11

One Monday in November, I wrote about my little Brown Betty. Since then, I have found that I enjoy looking at pictures of teapots and tea kettles and teacups so I have decided to share tea related pictures on Mondays.
It is lovely, isn't it? It is called a Forget-Me-Not Infuser Mug. I probably would not use it but if you want to buy one, you can go HERE.
